Since 2022 Idromeccanica Lucchini has been collaborating with Anseme, one of the leading companies in seed production, based in Cesena (Italy). The story of this collaboration began with a specific request from Anseme, which, after facing some issues with the installation of a batch of greenhouses, chose to turn to Lucchini, known for its expertise and reliability in the sector.
Custom greenhouses for seed production
The first project for Anseme, completed in July 2022, involved the construction of 18 greenhouses. These were “simple” models, but specifically designed to meet the company's needs. Anseme, producing seeds for all types of vegetables, requires structures that are functional and suitable for their specific requirements. The greenhouses were designed based on the Oriente TS tunnel model, with dimensions of 8.50 meters in width and lengths of 63 and 33 meters, oriented east-west. The structure was built—at the client's specific request—with a slightly modified arch compared to the standard Lucchini model, featuring 3 and 4-meter struts at the apex to ensure greater strength and adaptability.
The installations were then covered with a white net of the "Scirocco" model, designed to act as an insect filter. This covering, which is buried, helps ensure the protection of the crops inside. On the roof, a fixed thermal film was applied to improve temperature regulation. On the fronts, a 50% Scirocco White net with two zippers was installed to create a sort of vestibule, a small corridor that promotes the greenhouse's airtightness.
This customized approach is one of Lucchini's strengths, as the company always adapts to the needs of each client, even when it involves modifications that weren't initially planned. The final result fully satisfied Anseme, leading to a confirmation in March 2023 for an expansion with the installation of 8 additional greenhouses with the same characteristics.
A new "turnkey" project
The collaboration continued seamlessly, and in the fall of 2023, Lucchini completed the expansion with the installation of the 8 additional greenhouses. The great seriousness and quality of the work, along with the trust placed in the company's ability to meet the demands, convinced Anseme to sign a new contract for the creation of about 20 fully automated greenhouses with remote control. This new 4.0 project, which includes the creation of a complete irrigation system (with well, control panel, and sprinklers), represents a more complex commitment and marks a significant evolution in the collaboration between the two companies.
The decision to continue working with Lucchini, despite the competition from local companies, is a testament to how quality and reliability are sometimes more important than geographic "convenience." Lucchini’s passion transcends locations; and Anseme chose once again to trust Idromeccanica Lucchini for increasingly challenging projects. This is a source of great pride for us.
Looking to the future: new challenges ahead
This strong and fruitful partnership is already looking toward the future. For 2026-2027-2028, new horizons are expected, which will mark further growth for Anseme and another confirmation of Idromeccanica Lucchini’s ability to successfully meet the challenges of the sector.
Lucchini, with its skill and experience in designing and creating custom solutions, confirms itself as the ideal partner for those seeking reliability and innovation.
